Lee Leonard, Producer, Editor-in-Chief
Lee founded Sports Radio Service in 1983. He assists in recording and producing interviews, podcasts, and remotes at various local restaurants in San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento. He sets up interviews and game coverage for local talent and staff writers at the San Francisco Giants, Oakland A’s, San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders, Sacramento Kings, San Jose Earthquakes, San Jose Sharks, San Jose Barracuda, MLB All-Star Game, NFL Super Bowl and Pro Bowl, and NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs and Finals.

Jeremiah Salmonson, Sacramento Kings Beat Writer, Sacramento Athletics Beat Writer, Associate Editor
Jeremiah is the beat writer covering the Sacramento Kings for Sports Radio Service (SRS). He began his career in 2015, covering Oakland A’s baseball at the Oakland Coliseum for Sacramento area radio. In addition to his reporting duties, he hosts The Jeremiah Salmonson Show, which covers all sports, and The Three In The Paint Podcast, focused specifically on the NBA and Kings basketball.

Daniel Dullum, Analyst and Talk Show Host
Daniel’s work with Sports Radio Service started out as a beat writer covering both the Oakland A’s and San Francisco Giants. With his experience as a play-by-play announcer in the North Dakota radio market and at North Dakota State University, he got himself talk show host work doing the NHL podcast and the MLB podcasts on weekends at SportsRadioService.com. He shares great insight and inside stories and analysis. He keeps busy with NHL coverage when the San Jose Sharks pay a visit to Arizona, the Cal Bears and Stanford Cardinal when they visit Arizona State University, and the San Francisco Giants when they play the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field. He also does analysis on MLB.

Amaury Pi-Gonzalez, That’s Amaury’s News and Commentary
Amaury has been part of Sports Radio Service since 1999. He has been broadcasting, covering, and announcing the MLB in Spanish since 1969. He has been the lead announcer with the San Francisco Giants, Oakland A’s, Seattle Mariners, and Los Angeles Angels, and he has done the MLB World Series for national radio with ESPN, Westwood One, Fox, CBS, and Telemundo. His experience also extends to his coverage of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals with Telemundo TV when the San Jose Sharks and Pittsburgh Penguins faced off against each other. He was the Spanish play-by-play announcer for the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors no longer broadcast their games in Spanish. He’s the vice president of the MLB Hispanic Heritage Museum and does News and Commentary each week on SportsRadioService.com. He hosts Sports Talk for local remotes at various restaurant locations in San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento.

Michael Duca, Talk Show Host and Cal Bears analyst
Michael has worked covering and working MLB for over 40 years and sees no end in sight covering the grand old games. He podcasts for the Cal Bears and San Francisco Giants games. He works as a talk show host during remotes at some of San Francisco and Sacramento’s finest local restaurants. He also keeps busy during football season as an ESPN statistician for NCAA football. He has co-written the best-selling book, The Baseball Codes, so if you haven’t read the book, you should get a copy as you won’t be able to put it down.

Shawn McCullough, Webmaster and NFL Super Bowl and Pro Bowl photographer 
Shawn started Sports Radio Service’s website from day one as a webmaster. He created the layouts and formatting of the site in 2001. He was instrumental in helping with behind-the-scenes creations for articles and team coverage layouts. He formatted the podcasting coverage through SoundCloud. He continues to help as a webmaster and serves as a reporter for the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces with most of his coverage at the T-Mobile Center on the Las Vegas Strip.

Tony Renteria, Sacramento Kings Reporter and Headline Sports Talk Show Host
Tony has been with Sports Radio Service since 2001 when he covered the XFL San Francisco Demons at Pac Bell Park in San Francisco reporting on the Demons’ players, interviews, and analyses. After the Demons folded, he came on board doing NBA podcasting and interviewing for the Sacramento Kings. Fast forward to the present, he now does the weekly Las Vegas Raiders podcast at Sports Radio Service and covers the Sacramento Kings during the regular season for SRS.

Len Shapiro, NHL Analyst and San Jose Sharks Podcast Talk Show Host
Len is a former media relations manager for the now-defunct California Golden Seals, the first NHL team in Bay Area history. Len has seen it all — all the great teams from the 1960s and 1970s that came through the Oakland Coliseum Arena until the team left Oakland to play in Cleveland. He then formed “Bud Light Hockey Nights” with business partner Eric Clark. “Bud Light Hockey Nights” featured many of the NHL’s great teams that came to play exhibitions at the Cow Palace or Oakland Coliseum Arena. The promotion launched interest in a team in the Bay Area, and thus, the San Jose Sharks were born in 1991. He joined Sports Radio Service as an NHL analyst and co-host.

Lewis Rubman, Oakland Ballers/San Francisco Giants Beat Reporter
Lewis, a retired journalism professor at UC Berkeley, is a frequent reporter covering the MLB Caribbean Series and MLB Mexico series. He has also covered the MLB World Baseball Classic in Mexicali, Mexico. He was in Tokyo, Japan when the Oakland A’s and Seattle Mariners opened the 2019 regular season at the Tokyo Dome. He covers Giants and A’s home games as a beat writer.

Jessica Kwong, Beat Reporter and Podcast Host
Jessica started out at Sports Radio Service doing analysis on local sports in San Francisco on the San Francisco Giants, Oakland A’s, Golden State Warriors, and Sacramento Kings. She later moved to the Los Angeles market to work full-time at the Orange County Register but continued to cover baseball for SRS when the Giants or A’s came to play either the Dodgers or Angels in the Southland. She currently works in New York as a reporter covering when the Bay Area teams play in the Big Apple. Being in the New York media market, she covers the NBA, NHL, and MLB.

Tony “The Tiger” Hayes, Feature Writer on “He Was a Giant”
Tony does articles on former San Francisco Giants players, which surprisingly have been a big hit. He has worked on articles of former players who played in the 1960s and 1970s and has frequently included former players’ baseball cards. He formerly wrote for the San Francisco Chronicle regarding the same subject on former Giants players called “Giants Today.” He wrote about former and current players. He co-hosted Sports Talk at various restaurants in San Francisco and San Jose.

Barbara Mason, Headline Sports Podcast Analyst
Barbara currently multi-tasks, covering the Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, San Francisco Giants, Oakland A’s, and the Las Vegas Aces. She was a former beat writer for Fight Night at the Tank in San Jose and the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League.

Torben Rolfsen, NHL Analyst
Torben hosts the frequently heard program “The Rolfsen Report” on TSN 1040 Vancouver. He also hosted Sports Talk when the San Jose Sharks play in Vancouver doing roundtable discussions with talk show hosts Joe Lami and Marko Ukalovic. He shares a vast knowledge of the NHL and inside reporting of the latest in Vancouver Canucks. We’re proud to have him aboard, as he brings a lot of knowledge on the Canucks and NHL.

Charanbir Mahal, San Jose Sharks Podcaster and INDTVUSA
Charanbir podcasts San Jose Sharks hockey during Sharks home games for Sports Radio Service. Charanbir does the analysis and inside stories of what’s happening with the San Jose Sharks and inside the NHL. Charanbir’s also a TV reporter for INDTVUSA, which Charanbir has been a part of for ten years.

Michael Roberson, Stanford Cardinal and NCAA Beat Analyst
Michael covers Stanford football, men’s and women’s basketball with analyses of all home and away coverage. Michael served as a reporter from the Women’s Final Four for Sports Radio Service during the 2023 Championship game between the Iowa Buckeyes and the LSU Tigers in Dallas.

Marko Ukalovic, San Jose Barracuda Beat Writer and MLB Analyst
During the NHL and AHL seasons, Marko’s one of the busiest journalists in hockey, covering both the local San Jose Sharks and San Jose Barracuda. He covers the Barracuda on a regular basis for Sports Radio Service. He gives us a recap and a closer look into each home and away game. He also co-hosts Sports Talk radio in San Francisco and San Jose. You can catch him and his game recaps as he interviews key players from each game. When he’s not covering hockey, he does San Jose Earthquakes soccer. He formerly worked full-time at the Barracuda’s flagship station KDOW 1220. He podcasts Barracuda hockey and San Francisco Giants baseball.

Charlie O, MLB Analyst
Charlie O is an MLB analyst for Sports Radio Service. After moving to Northern California, he covered the San Jose Giants and wound up doing play-by-play for them. He managed San Jose radio station KSJX. He also assisted with various assignments, including the Washington Nationals when they paid visits to the Oakland Coliseum or Oracle Park, and interviewed former Nats pitching coach Steve McCatty. He can be heard on the MLB podcasts each Sunday.

David Zizmor, San Francisco 49ers and Golden State Warriors Analyst
David has been with Sports Radio Service since 1996. He currently does a podcast on the San Francisco 49ers and Golden State Warriors Wednesdays. He also hosted Sports Talk on 1450 KEST San Jose and 1550 KSJX San Jose doing remotes at various Bay Area restaurants.

Bill Gould  Talk show host/guest analyst: Bill has been doing sports analysis since 2001 for Sports Radio Service. You can catch Bill on Sportstalk podcasts at remote locations and as recently as in Sacramento. Bill’s specialty of conversation is the Boston Red Sox as he has a rich history with the Red Sox that goes back to the 30s and 40s.Bill also serves as Charles A Beardsley Emeritus at Stanford Law School in his day job where Bill is a labor and discrimination scholar. For 50 years Bill has worked as a voice between labor and management for the National Relations Board as Chairman.

Tom Zulewski: Tom is a NASCAR beat writer covering auto racing, Tom has experience covering dirt tracks, American LeMans Series, NASCAR, NHRA, and has been covering motor racing for the last two decades. Tom has been active on social media on twitter. Tom currently covers the Sonoma Raceway for SRS with its annual event every June. Tom formerly was a MLB and NHL writer and analyst for SRS and hosted many talk show remotes for SRS.

Stephen Ruderman: Stephen serves as a podcaster discussing all the latest headlines in Major League Baseball, Oakland A’s and San Francisco Giants. Stephen covers the Sacramento Rivercats home games for Sports Radio Service. Stephen was a Giants beat writer during the 2017 season and is happy to return to baseball coverage during the 2023 season.

Rich Perez: Rich is in his 5th year with Sports Radio Service and has 30 years of experience in sports reporting. He handles the Las Vegas Raiders Report podcast, covering both home and away games at SRS. Rich has a rich history in sports media, having worked with teams like the University of Hawaii, Iowa State football, LA Rams, Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings, LA Dodgers, and more. He also served as the 2004 voice of the Harlem Globetrotters.

A member of the Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame (Class of 2015), Rich has hosted over 10,000 radio shows for CBS Sports. He’s also known for his role as color commentator for Tony Brown’s/Don King’s CMX Friday Night Fights, where he paired with the legendary Colonel Bob Sheridan for over 600 fights worldwide. Often seen wearing his trademark black cowboy hat, Rich is a well-known figure in the sports and broadcasting industries. He also played minor league baseball.

Mary Lisa Walsh: Mary Lisa started her journalism career in print as a beat reporter for the now defunct San Francisco Bulls of the AHL. Mary Lisa later would join Sports Radio Service as an analyst and beat writer in coverage of San Jose Sharks hockey and covers all Sharks road games. Mary Lisa also join the Sports Talk team for remote podcasting at various San Francisco and San Jose restaurants. Mary Lisa is a current San Jose Sharks beat reporter for Sharks road games.

Michael Villanueva: Michael is a Major League Baseball podcast contributor and is a beat writer for the Bay Area Panthers. Michael hosts the San Francisco Giants podcasts each Friday talking about current moves, games, and trade rumors. Michael covers the Giants at Oracle Park in San Francisco. Michael works on social media delivering news on Instagram, Facebook, X. Also sharing podcasts on Spotify and Soundcloud. Michael covers the Bay Area Panthers of the Indoor Football League. The IFL is a 16 team league and Michael cover the Panthers home games. Michael is a graduate with a BA in Journalism from Arizona State University.

Lincoln Juarez: Lincoln has worked as a Major League Baseball podcast contributor discussing aspects of player trades, trade rumors, injuries, and breaking news stories. Lincoln is a beat writer with San Jose State Spartans for football and basketball. Lincoln has worked on various newspapers, websites and radio in Tennessee. Lincoln’s strong communication skills and deep understanding of professional and college sports makes him one of the successes in the podcast field.

Vince Cestone: Vince has been instrumental in maintaining social media with Facebook, Instagram, and X for Sports Radio Service. Also Vince serves as technical support for audio podcasts on Spotify and Soundcloud. If a password is lost or a userword is needed Vince has come to the rescue for the podcast staff. Vince formerly worked at KRON 4 News San Francisco as a producer helping the air talent produce their news stories and also served in social media technical support.

Mauricio Segura: The proprietor and owner of the Golden Bay Times a publication that covers local sports Mauricio also writes for Sports Radio Service and is the Sacramento A’s beat reporter for A’s road games. Mauricio is also a talented photographer and has been a huge contributor to the Sports Radio Service Instagram account.

Jay Choi: Jay is a Sports Radio Service photographer covering the San Francisco Giants. Jay largely photographs all in game action at Giants home games at Oracle Park in San Francisco. Jay posts all Giants home game photos on the Sports Radio Service site. Jay also is a photographer for SF Bay News Lab a Bay Area South Korean paper that takes exclusive photos of Giants Korean outfielder Jung Hoo Lee. In 2024 when Lee was injured and out for the season Jay had to cease operations. For 2025 Lee is back and healthy Jay is back with those exclusive photos on Jung Hoo. Fernando Abarca: Fernando is a San Jose Sharks beat writer and does Sharks podcasting and commentary. Fernando covers the game recaps for Sharks home games. Fernando interviews and gets analysis from the players in the dressing rooms and all the latest updates. Fernando podcasts Sharks hockey and the NHL updates. Fernando works full time for NBC Sports Bay Area the official affiliate of the San Jose Sharks.

Madison Montez: Madison is a San Jose Barracuda beat writer. Madison covers, interviews, and does analysis on Barracuda hockey and writes the game recaps from Barracuda home games at Tech CU in San Jose. Madison also works covering the San Jose Spartans football and basketball and her knowledge of SJSU athletics and of football and basketball and getting insight in interviews with the coaches, players and front office staff is an asset to her coverage.

Morris Phillips: Cal Bears beat writer/San Francisco Giants podcast contributor 
Morris has been at Sports Radio Service between 2010-current date. He’s a beat writer covering Cal
Bears basketball and football, Oakland A’s, and San Francisco Giants. He also is a talk show
host for Sports Talk radio. He works the remote production at some of San Francisco and
Sacramento’s finest restaurant establishments doing analysis for local sports headlines while
promoting fine dining. He covers the MLB All-Star games each year by podcasting and
providing print coverage. He is a beat writer for Cal Bears football and basketball.
