#1 MLB executives have said to listened to the scientists and have faith that they can make the right decisions during this long pandemic to get us through it

#2 California Governor Gavin Newsom said that the possibility to reopen is “negligible” at best adding until a vaccine is available everything is on hold

#3 The basic bottom line from Newsom is until there is a vaccine expect not to go see any sporting events which could be as long as the 18 months or September 2021.

#4 Major League Baseball has taken part in a anti-body study that antibodies are developed so the virus or a bacteria is recognized in the body. The research is taking place in Santa Clara and Los Angeles as well as at USC. It was reported that the Oakland A’s are also on board with the program.

#5 Events are possibilities to be held without fans but what about at risk personnel, the players, medical staff, EMTs, trainers, security, engineers, custodians, front office personnel and the media?

#1 On the topic of the NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said “nothing been ruled out in and nothing has been ruled out” regarding canceling the rest of the season.

#2 How much will such a decision impact the players, coaches, fans, front office those who work the games every night if the season were to be canceled.

#3 Bettman added it will take two or three weeks to see how this epidemic goes and if there is any chance to return.

#4 What about the possibility of a Stanley Cup Playoff starting late in June finishing with the finals September.

#5 The number of NHL players with Covid-19. The Colorado Avalanche have three players and the Ottawa Senators with five players infected. Before doing anything the NHL wants to confirm they have a clean bill of health before starting anything.

#4 The Oakland A’s player representative Marcus Semien said that the Tokyo Olympics are done but MLB most likely will schedule as many games as possible once it returns to action.

#5 Former Bates College athlete, two time All American lacrosse player Jack Allard was reported in critical condition on Wednesday morning because of Covid 19. Allard came to the hospital on March 13th and is in a medically induced coma and breathing with the aid of a respirator. He is in line to have experimental treatment soon.
