#1 Taking a look at last Wednesday night’s game at SAP Center in San Jose in overtime the San Jose Sharks Tomas Hertl scored the game winner to defeat the Metropolitan first place New York Rangers 3-2.
#2 The Rangers came out of the gate in the first and second periods scoring a goal in each period for a 2-0 lead.
#3 The Sharks who have been inspired since Logan Couture’s return from his injury scored twice in the third period to even the score 2-2.
#4 Hertl in the overtime scored at 1:29 that gave the Sharks their third straight win, “(Jan Ruuta and Alex Barabanov) made a great play and I got an empty-netter,” Hertl said. “Kind of an easy goal for me, but a great job by them for sure. Huge win for us, and it’s nice to have three in a row.”
