#1 For the first two periods of Tuesday night’s game both teams played to a shutout both goaltenders Seattle Karken (10-15-3) Chris Driedger and San Jose Sharks goaltender James Reimer (15-13-1) shutout each others team in those first two periods.
#2 Former San Jose Sharks and Seattle Kraken Ryan Donato scoreless in the third scored a go ahead goal for the Kraken which was the first of three goals that the Kraken would score good enough to eventually win.
#3 The Kraken started the game with three former Sharks who might be familiar how their former teammates play, Donato, Joonas Donskoi, and Alexander True. One thing for sure the Kraken defended well throughout the whole game.
#4 The Sharks Matt Nieto had a chance early when got a rebound on his stick and got it down to an open net but the Kraken’s Adam Larsson got a stick on Nieto’s stick and got it down and that chance was erased.
#5 The Vancouver Canucks pay the Sharks a visit to SAP Center on Thursday night. The Canucks defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets in Vancouver on Tuesday night 4-3. The Canucks are hot they have won five straight games coming into Thursday’s game.
