#1 It was a battle but all the scoring took place in the second period as the Dallas Stars get a way with a win over the Las Vegas Golden Knights 2-1 on Saturday all the scoring came in the second period.

#2 The Knights started things off with Alec Martinez scoring the game’s first goal at 7:44 in the second period to take a 1-0 lead.

#3 The Stars Joe Pavelski is a post season scoring machine with his ninth goal of the playoffs, Pavelski scores to tie the game at 1-1 at 11:34 in the second period.

#4 The Stars Jamie Benn scored the tie breaking goal at 19:01 late in the second period as the Stars take a 3-1 series lead.

#5 The Knights goaltender Robin Lehner stopped 18 of 20 shots and the Stars goalie Anton Khudobin stopped 32 of 33 shots talk a little about the goaltending.
