There was so much talk about shopping Hunter Pence that it sounded like it was good as gold that he was going to get traded. Pence’s two-run RBI double might have saved his job for now in a Sunday game that won it for San Francisco.

The Giants have improved on the homestand with a 5-2 record with three more games left with Colorado starting Tuesday night. The Rockies are in fourth place in the NL West. Morris will tell us how he sees this series coming up. Giants outfielder Austin Jackson’s name had come up as being shopped by SF, but the Giants are concerned like Pence giving up Jackson–they could eat a lot of his contract.
