On the Cardinal podcast with Jerry:

It was a tough loss for the Stanford Cardinal last 24-21 last Saturday they dropped to 6-3 with the loss and now they have two loses in the Pac 12 and now they have to face a very tough opponent in the Washington Huskies at Stanford Stadium on Friday night. It would have been better for them to win in WSU but the Cougars held Cardinal running back Bryce Love to just 57 yards and Love was suffering from the ankle injury.

The report going into Friday night’s game is that Love is not 100% but he’s been practicing and how much time he sees will see what coach David Shaw comes up with for the game against the Cougars. The Washington State was a tough customer last Saturday and head coach Mike Leach might have been the reason why the Cougars have improved so much this season and why the Cardinal lost but lost in a close contest 24-21.
