1 Eduardo Nunez was hitting over a .300 clip while the Giants fully knew they were not going to post season they wanted to get some value for Nunez sending him to the Boston Red Sox. Nunez basically is headed to Boston to help the club after doing a spectacular job in San Francisco especially after the last few weeks after the All Star game.

2 There’s very little doubt after hitting over .300 that Nunez will be a big help with the Sox and don’t forget he is a Golden Glove type defensive third baseman

3 Michael talks about Nunez although the Giants struggled Nunez went through his paces with great defense at third and with clutch hits

4 Nunez’ teammates, the coaches, the front office and manager Bruce Bochy really liked Nunez and the job he did and also the person he was on and off the field

5 Pablo Sandoval still needs to work on his five tools but most importantly hitting the Giants are waiting for the Panda to sniff .275 before bringing him up to the show
