#1 The San Francisco Giants are considering taking a look at pitchers Ty Blach or Tyler Beede for the rotation. Should this signal that maybe Giants star pitcher Matt Cain’s time is up?
#2 The Giants Michael Morse will be used for his power hitting and teammate Hunter Pence says he’ll be a great presence for the energy level in a clubhouse
#3 Oakland A’s manager Bob Melvin called one the best managers in the game but works for an A’s organization that just simply won’t spend the money to get some high priced talent.
#4 Also Melvin says of A’s outfielder Jake Smolinski who will be out for four to six months which could wipe out his entire season due to surgery on his right shoulder and had a Bursa sac removed how badly will Smolinski be missed in the line up?
#5 Washington Nationals manager Dusty Baker has not been offered an extension from the Nats as of yet beyond 2017. Will he get an offer this season or will the Nats wait and see what Dusty can do this season before offering him another deal?
