Matt is joined by Stanford Cardinal (9-8) reporters Jerry Feitelberg and Jeremy Harness on Thursday’s podcast. The injury to Stanford’s Reid Travis was a huge hit for the Cardinal as he missed out on two games both games at UCLA and USC. The Cardinal were on a four game losing streak until Travis returned against the Washington State Cougars (9-7) and helped out with 17 points Thursday night.

The Cardinal got lots of offensive help in the 30 point win over the Cougars 84-54 from Robert Cartwright who led the way with 21 points and Dorian Pickens with 18 points. The Cardinal had as much as a 25 point lead on the Cougars by half time and WSU looked like they wanted to toss in the towel and call for the mercy rule at that point.

The Cardinal host Washington (8-8) this Saturday with Jeremy Harness covering the beat that night a 1:05PM tip at Maples Pavilion.
