The San Jose Sharks winning streak of three wins comes to an end at SAP Center on Saturday night with a loss to the Anaheim Ducks 3-2 it was hard fought game by the Sharks who came out short.
How about those Toronto Maple Leafs they got a big victory over the Washington Capitals 4-2 with help from the Leafs Austin Matthews who scored for his second straight game with two assists from Mitch Marner.
The Ottawa Senators edged out the Carolina Hurricanes 2-1 as Kyle Turis who scored broke the 1-1 deadlock for the Sens at 3:32 and leads the Sens with ten goals as they win their third game in a row.
Alex Galchenyuk scored a goal at 3:37 in the overtime and the Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price stopped 32 shots as the Habs edged out the Detroit Red Wings 2-1.
Florida Panthers got a one goal win over the Columbus Blue Jackets 2-1. Alexander Barkov scored the only goal in the shootout and Panther goalie Robert Luongo stopped 35 shots and turned aside three shots in the shootout for the 2-1 win.
