#2 The NY Rangers beat an excellent goaltender for the Boston Bruins Tuukka Rask 5-2 on Saturday night. Rask made 19 saves but the Rangers also scored on him five times.

#3 The Washington Caps are rolling picking up their fifth consecutive win over the Florida Panthers. The Caps TJ Oshie scored twice in the third period to help contribute to the Caps 4-2 win.

#4 The Colorado Avalanche shutout the Minnesota Wild 1-0 when the Aves Gaberiel Landeskol scored the lone goal of the game with 9:37 left in the game. Aves goalie Calvin Pickard stopped 32 shots.

#5 What are the odds of Quebec City ever getting an NHL expansion team? Quebec City was named one of the cities have a shot at getting an NHL team when Las Vegas was named. NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said Quebec would have to wait a little bit longer until the league can make way for another team in the Eastern Conference which used to outnumber the West in clubs.
