The impression that you get after attending the first two games at Golden 1 Arena downtown Sacramento is plain fantastic. Talk is the Sacramento Kings and at one of the pre season games for this season this is a happier team.  This edition of the Sacramento Kings these guys are just happier basketball players. It’s dramatic and the team is really excited about the new arena. What’s not to be excited about it. We as members of the press are excited about it, the community of the greater Sacramento area are over the top excited about it.

It’s dramatic how this has impacted downtown Sacramento and the things that are going on. If it’s not enough already to have the new arena right next door the new 16 story hotel the Kings are involved in developing is going up. There are other hotel renovations going on, new restaurants going on. Areas on K Street they’ve been trying to develop three blocks on K Street ever since I came here 15 years ago.
