Now that the San Jose Sharks are going to be playing five of six at home starting on Tuesday night with the Anaheim Ducks you should see some of those things that happened on the road with the tough road trip where they went 1-3 corrected. The last game where the Sharks were shutout by the Detroit Red Wings and goaltender Jimmy Howard the Wings were missing center Pavel Datsyuk and an aging forward Henrik Zetterberg who will bring them down eventually this could be the year they could miss the playoffs.

Howard had a great game in goal and it was his 23rd career shutout and he’s trying desperately to try and fight for a job there in Detroit and he’s batting with goaltender and teammate Petr Mrazek for the goaltending job. On the Pittsburgh trip the Pens took advantage of the giveaways and turnovers by the Sharks as the Sharks crumbled in that one for the loss. Sharks look to turn it around Tuesday at SAP Center in San Jose.
