With the National League Western Division Championship still in sight, the San Francisco Giants got a huge win.

Eduardo Nunez hit a solo home run off a camera in the top of the fifth inning that was reviewed by the umpires, as it was originally called a triple and the Giants shutout the Los Angeles Dodgers 2-0 at Dodger Stadium.

The win by the Giants cut the Dodgers lead in the NL West down to five games with 11 games to play, including four more against the Dodgers over the next 12 days.

Unfortunately, the win did come at a cost, as both Brandon Crawford and Johnny Cueto were forced to leave the game with injuries.

Crawford dislocated the pinky on his left (glove) hand when he slid into third base in the top of the second inning, as he tagged out by Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager. Crawford attempted to advance to third base on a Brandon Belt single.

Ehire Adrianza, who started the game at second base, moved over to shortstop and Joe Panik was inserted into the game at second base.

Belt added a solo home run in the top of the ninth to give the Giants a insurmountable 2-0 lead over the rival Dodgers.

Cueto first felt the strain to his left groin in the bottom of the sixth inning after he hurt it on a 2-2 pitch to Andrew Toles. He eventually walked Toles, and then left the game after the walk to Toles.

Prior to leaving the game, Cueto went 5.1 innings, allowing eight hits, walking two and striking out six on his way to his 17th win of the season.

Bruce Bochy brought on Stephen Okert, who promptly struck out both Yasiel Puig and Enrique Hernandez to end the inning.

Okert went 1.2 innings, as he came up with a huge strikeout of Adrian Gonzalez in the bottom of the seventh.

Will Smith struck out two in his lone inning of work, before giving way to Sergio Romo to close it out.

Romo pitched a perfect ninth to notch his first save since July of 2015.
