On the NCAA podcast with Michelle, three coaches in the league are trying hold their own to maintain their jobs, Auburn’s Gus Malzahn, Texas A&M’s Kevin Sumlin, and West Virginia’s Dana Holgorsen. Malzahn needs a winning record and needs to beat Alabama when Auburn matches up against them and Sumlin doesn’t have Johnny Football Manziel around anymore and needs to get Texas A&M competitive.

Duke quarterback Thomas Sirk will miss the rest of the season due to a Achilles injury. Sirk led the Blue Devils with 2625 yards in passing and rushed for 803 yards. Duke will miss Sirk under center this season. Cal’s quarterback Webb Davis had a big day on Friday in Sydney throwing 38-54 for 441 yards an four touchdowns in Cal’s 51-31 win.
