On the MLB podcast with Daniel Cleveland who is hosting the Oakland A’s this weekend picked up left hand pitcher Andrew Miller from the New York Yankees in exchange for four prospects. Cleveland also attempted to obtain Milwaukee Brewer catcher Jonathan Lucroy for four prospects. Lucroy invoked his five-ten clause rights to null and void the deal.

The Toronto Blue Jays who won their last two games worked their way back up to first place after winning two straight and taking a half game lead over the Baltimore Orioles. The Jays a post season team last year look like they’ve got shot this year to do more damage and their getting plenty of offense from third baseman Josh Donaldson whose got a shot at the AL MVP.
