San Francisco Giants podcast with Morris Phillips: Giants looking to get over rough trip and get some good home cooking going

On the podcast with Morris, the San Francisco Giants are too good of a team to play as poorly as they did on this road trip going 1-7 and couldn’t think of the last time they had a tough start like this after having a great first half. The Giants allowed 16 home runs and five of them came on the trip to Boston. Also there was the night that David Ortiz hit three home runs.

The Giants never held the lead in any of the eight games in the first eight innings of those games. The Giants just couldn’t get it in gear and lucky for them they have built themselves a cushion and they lead the NL West by three games in front of the Dodgers. The hope is now the Giants will start this current homestand and get well on some home cooking.
