The Yankees have struggled all year and host the San Francisco Giants this weekend who before the All Star break was the hottest team in baseball. The Giants come into the Bronx with a five game loss streak and it’s just a question can they turn things around or can the Yankees sense a wounded animal and come to life in this series?

Mike Piazza enters this Hall this week and he’ll go in as a New York Met. His best years were as an LA Dodger he came in as that new brand of power hitting catcher which now applies to a lot of clubs who are using the smarter and more power hitting catcher and that’s a trend that Piazza started which is his legacy going into the Hall of Fame this week.
