On the Giants podcast with Morris, they miss him real bad the Giants Hunter Pence will rest his sore hamstring. Pence who tore his hamstring earlier in the season has been working out with the Giants Triple A affiliate the Sacramento Rivercats complained of soreness over the weekend and is back on the shelf again. Pence a great clubhouse leader for the Giants wants to get better and return to the show but again the hamstring has put him on a schedule as to when he could return again. The Giants are missing three of their key players Pence, Matt Duffy, and Joe Panik.

It’s been a tough week for Giants pitcher Johnny Cueto who pitched in San Diego first at the All Star game where he got rocked by his former teammates on the Kansas City Royals representing the American League and then against the Padres on Sunday. He’s glad to leave San Diego and is scheduled for a start at Yankee Stadium for the weekend series with hopes that his luck will turn around.
