On the A’s podcast with Jerry a look at former Athletic Josh Donaldson, Donaldson is working on his MVP skills as he’s moved into a tie with the Los Angeles Angels Mike Trout for the battle of the MVP Award. Donaldson slugged a two out two run double to help move the Toronto Blue Jays ahead of the A’s for a 5-3 win on Sunday.

The win helps the Jays avoid getting swept in Oakland as the A’s took the first two games of the series. The pitching relief woes continue as A’s reliever Sean Manaea gave up a home run, three hits, two runs, with four strikeouts. A’s reliever Andrew Triggs in relief Sunday gave up a run on two hits, A’s reliever John Axford was rocked he was touched up for 1.1 innings, three hits, two runs, two walks, and a strikeout.
