On the Giants podcast with Morris, Madison Bumgarner nearly got the deal done on Sunday night at AT&T Park after losing a no hitter on a Arizona Diamondbacks Jake Lamb hit in the eighth to break it up for Bumgarner. Bumgarner had that effective signature pitch the curve ball working for him. Bumgarner had offensive help from the first four hitters in the line up Denard Span, Angel Pagan, Brandon Belt, and Buster Posey who scored a run each for the Giants 4-0 win.

Johnny Cueto will be representing the Giants as the National League starting pitcher. Cueto has had his variety of pitches that have kept hitters off balance all season and will have an opportunity to show case his handy work against the American League hitters. Buster Posey the Giants catcher whose no stranger to the All-Star game will get the starting call behind the plate for the National League.
