Oakland A’s podcast with Jerry Feitelberg: Vogt A’s All-Star representative excited to be an All-Star

On the podcast Jerry discusses the A’s pitching woes and how the starters and relievers will have to suck it up in the second half to improve. The pitchers are hurting but Rich Hill, Sonny Gray, Kendall Graveman, Sean Manaea, and Daniel Mengden, are in that rotation but can they stay healthy in second half of the campaign?

Sonny Gray most likely will survive the trade deadline he’s struggled the first half although he had an outing where he went six inning and gave up only one run. Gray the ace of the rotation is aiming for a successful second half and the All-Star break is a needed rest for Gray.

Stephen Vogt is in San Diego for the All-Star game and is the A’s representative. Vogt has caught most of the A’s game in the first half and is hitting .277, with 30 runs, seven homers, and 27 RBIs.
