On the A’s podcast with Jerry, A’s pitcher Kendall Graveman pitched beautifully on Monday July 4th at Minnesota. It was probably Graveman’s best game of the year. He went 6.2/3 innings, allowed one run and gave up just three hits. It was a very impressive outing for Graveman.  Graveman did not start the season well he was 2-6 at one point. Now he’s 4-6 for the year and in his last seven games he’s 3-0 and has an ERA 3.60.

Graveman has been very good for a starting pitcher and he’s been showing in his last seven games that he’s got his game on track. His location is much better he’s keeping the ball down in the zone. If he does that he gets a lot of ground balls he’s not elevating his pitches when he does that he gets into trouble.
