On the MLB podcast with Matt Harrington, Giants pitcher Jake Peavy looks as if he found his way after having a struggle in previous outings and he picked up his fourth win against six losses for the campaign so far on Friday night against the Los Angeles Angels. Peavy also got help from the Giants Brandon Belt who slugged a three run double and Angel Pagan picked up three hits in the Giants one run win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday night at Citizen’s Bank Park.
Meanwhile the A’s starter Eric Surkamp while he struggled against the Angels he got offensive help from the A’s Khris Davis who hit a three run homer to help get the A’s a win over the Angels. A’s catcher Stephen Vogt said of Surkamp’s performance, “he didn’t have his best stuff (Friday night) he battled and got some good hitters out on some quality pitches.”
