On the Giants podcast with Miguel, on Wednesday the Giants pitcher Jeff Samardzija came out and pitched his shortest game of his Major league career and pretty much threw the same way he threw in St Louis. He was giving up long balls left, right and center. Then the Giants had five relievers come in after Samardzija and settled things down. Derek Law came into relieve for Samardzija and threw three scoreless innings giving up only two hits.
Kudos all around to the rest of the bullpen after Law pitched three relatively flawless innings, even in the ninth inning Santiago Casilla got a save after a long absence due to maternity leave. Casilla had a good inning he was throwing with velocity going one inning one hit and a strikeout against the Bucs.
