MLB podcast with Tony Renteria: Giants comeback win on Sox lends to momentum into LA series

On the MLB podcast with Tony, It was a big night for the Giants Hunter Strickland reliever who had come in after the Giants used three other relievers. The Boston Red Sox had two on with two outs in the top of the ninth and the Giants up 2-1. Strickland got the Sox hitter Marco Hernandez to ground out and picked up the save. Meanwhile earlier in the game the Giants Mac Williamson hit his first big league homer to put the Giants on top by a run which proved to be the game winner on Monday night.

The Oakland A’s continue to struggle as they got shutout 4-0 in Milwaukee losing that series and back to back series on this last road trip. The A’s have now lost five straight games and A’s pitcher Sonny Gray looked ahead to the baseball draft to see if there was any help on the way “I don’t think anyone in the front offices of every team, actually knows what’s going to happen , except for maybe the first and second teams to pick. But other than that, I don’t think anyone has a clue.”
