On the podcast with Miguel the Giants Madison Bumgarner closes out the series pitching against the Boston Red Sox  on Wednesday night. Bumgarner (7-2 ERA 1.91) vs. the Sox David Price (7-2 ERA 4.88) in what could be one of the best matches of the month for both teams. Bumgarner has reached a career high of six consecutive wins. Giants catcher Buster Posey is out with a irritated nerve in his left thumb and is listed day to day. Posey was out of the line up for Tuesday and Wednesday during the Boston series.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are coming Friday to open a three game series against the Giants at AT&T Park. This series will be without fanfare as the Dodgers will start left handed pitcher Clayton Kershaw (8-1 ERA 1.46) and for the Giants right hander Johnny Cueto (9-1 ERA 2.16) that should be a great pitching duel on Friday.
