Joe Lami (host), Matt Harrington (SJ Sharks beat writer), and Lee Leonard (producer), at Bridges Restaurant in downtown Vancouver BC. On the road trip with the San Jose Sharks and Vancouver Canucks. The Sharks play the Canucks three times in six days. The Sharks who started out the trip playing on Sunday night for the win 4-1 will continue their meeting with Vancouver on Thursday night in Vancouver before concluding the series on Saturday night in San Jose.

Ironically Sunday was the first meeting between the two teams for the season. The Sharks are looking to hold their playoff spot as they battled against the Montreal Canadiens on Monday night the Sharks took it to the Canadiens with a 6-2 whipping at SAP Center in San Jose. Matt and Joe will have more coverage from Vancouver’s Rogers Center on Thursday  when the Sharks return   listen in for the NHL podcast.

We want to extend our thanks to our very generous hosts at Bridges Restaurant on Granville Island in downtown Vancouver, Peter Horwood CEO, President, Susan Sharun events manager, Katie Matthews Manager, Natalija Dreseris Manager, Richard Manager, Chef Steve, and our server Torben Rolfsen. The service was the first thing that we noticed that was outstanding as our server Torben was very attentive and also spoke at length with us about what specials were on the menu.

Tobin had recommended the Cesar salad hot seafood and his recommendation couldn’t have been better with a nice bed of lettuce choice with shrimp, local salmon, and sea bass to compliment the salad, Joe Lami enjoyed the fish and chips and the restaurant in the winter uses snapper for the fish portion Joe recommended this on the podcast to all our listeners. Matt had the steak cooked to perfection and enjoyed it with a side of mash potatoes. The soup de jour was a patato base with bits of smoked salmon. The deserts were to die for as Matt enjoyed his raspberry gelato and producer Lee had the banana split.

We know we’d love to come back to Bridges and especially thank everyone at Bridges for their warm hospitality in hosting our podcast.
