PALO ALTO–The Stanford Cardinal (11-10) are just one game over .500 they lost to Colorado last week and lost to Utah and then to Cal on Saturday night in Berkeley to get swept on the three game road trip. They’ve slipped in the Pac 12 and the Cardinal are almost at the bottom of the Pac 12. The team with worst record in the Pac 12 are the Washington State Cougars and the Cardinal are not doing well either.
The Cardinal defense: they didn’t play defense and their opponents have taken it to them and the Cardinal had beat Cal last time they met 77-71 but lost their four game win streak against Cal on Saturday. Part of Stanford’s problem was their outstanding forward Marcus Allen wasn’t involved in most of the game last Saturday against Cal.
