BERKELEY–Going into Saturday night’s game against Stanford Cal head coach Cuonzo Martin should be concerned they did everything they could to give away a game last Saturday night to Colorado. The Colorado Bufaloes gave every kind of gift they could to the Cal Bears under the tree and the Bears still couldn’t figure out how to open it.

When you miss the 15 of your first 16 shots in a game you have no business being in let alone basically tied at half time. The Bears are a very frustrating team to watch at this point. It’s frustrating for the Cal front office, the students, and the fans.

There is anything but sleep for Martin right now but for Ivan Rabb who no doubt will be a top ten NBA draft pick needs a year or two of college seasoning I keep listening to commentaries on the radio while on the road saying that Rabb needs another year. It’s clear that the Bears Rabb and Jaylen Brown do not have the defensive skills to get to the next level and it’s great to get drafted but it doesn’t make much sense to get drafted and sit on the bench.
