On the News and Commentary with Amaury the San Francisco Giants have been busy this past week with the signing of pitcher Jeff Samardjiza from the White Sox and now a big colossal contract with pitcher Johnny Cueto from the Kansas City Royals. The Giants look as if they have their five man rotation set for 2016.

Also Amaury comments about how it was a mistake to continue the lifetime ban of former Cincinnati Red outfielder/manager Pete Rose. MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred on Monday said that Rose will continued to be banned from the game. Rose in a statement said he accepted the Commissioner’s decision and will continue his ban from the game.

Star Wars the Force Awakens which opens this Friday was the topic of conversation at the Baltimore Orioles Fanfest with Orioles manager Bucky Showalter. Young kids lined up to take the microphone and ask the O’s skipper questions in a Q & A session. One kid asked who was Showalter’s favorite Star Wars Character and Showalter replied “I don’t do Star Wars” and another kid asked Bucky why he never smiles, the manager never gave an answer and just shrugged his shoulders.
