On the podcast tonight Charlie O takes a look at tonight’s battle between the visiting Memphis Grizzlies who are coming off a frustrating 53 point loss to Golden State and the Sacramento Kings who are coming off a 114-109 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Kings DeMarcus Cousins suffered a Achilles injury and his status has been day to day. He missed part of the Clippers contest last Saturday.
Also a look at Willie Cauly-Stein and if the move to make him a starter is good, bad, or a desperate measure on the Kings part. The pairing is a good fit says Kings head coach George Karl, the experiment is going so well that Rajon Rondo had back to back 20 point games the first time he’s done that since the 2012-13 season.
During pre season there was a concern about how Ben McLemore would progress looks like he’s done well through his first three games on Saturday night at Los Angeles. Rondo had racked up 21 leading points that night, the Kings won the game before that defeating the Lakers at Sleep Train 132-114 and again scored another 21 points,
