San Jose Sharks podcast with Mary Walsh: Sharks set to face Preds Thur; Sharks hit road for weekend games

The San Jose Sharks who had a nice cushion of time off after playing the Carolina Hurricane last Saturday to getting ready on Thursday night to face the Nashville Predators. The Sharks really could use that time off. They lost to the Los Angeles Kings last Thursday night and defeated the Hurricane last Saturday.

Also a preview of the Sharks and Dallas Stars match up at Dallas on Saturday a high noon face off. After that contest the Sharks head to Colorado to conclude the road trip. The Sharks are 5-3-0, third in the Pacific, speaking of the Pacific it’s tightening up as some teams are losing some games to make it tighter in the standings.

Also on Mary’s podcast a look at the Winnipeg Jets Alexander Burmistrov’s fine ($4,167) for elbowing the Minnesota Wild’s Jared Spurgeon and comparing contact that results in concussions in the NHL. Also how long can the Montreal Canadiens keep up the perfect play. Their 9-0 and no one in recent memory can remember seeing the Habs or another NHL stay this hot for this long.
