On the podcast tonight with Mary Lisa: The Sharks get their home season off to a start on Saturday night at SAP Center in downtown San Jose hosting the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim of just the Ducks. After the Ducks Jakob Silfverberg took a shoulder hit from the Sharks Raffi Torres Saturday night the Ducks might be satisfied to know that Torres is serving the first of a 41 game suspension starting on Wednesday night when the Sharks open up in Los Angeles.

The Sharks also will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary as a franchise which started in 1991 at the Cow Palace in Daly City. They will pay tribute to a number of the former Sharks players who skated for the team during that 25 year reign. The Sharks have plans to bring back former goalie favorite Evegeni Nabokov (2000-2010), Owen Nolan (1995-2003), Mike Ricci (1997-2004) and many more players from the past to the Silver Anniversary.
