The San Jose Sharks who were eliminated on Monday night with the win by the Winnipeg Jets over the Minnesota Wild 2-0 which means the Sharks will now miss their first playoff series in ten seasons. The Sharks who had hoped for some sort of life at the end of the tunnel but the loss in Arizona on Saturday dimmed those hopes. The power play has haunted San Jose time and again in Arizona and again Monday night against Dallas. The Stars had a five on three power play which lasted 26 seconds in the second period and scored a third unanswered goal to take a 3-0 lead.
